Senior Grants/Accounts Clerk (Maternity Leave)
Louise Carter originally started working within Cambridge University in 2001 when she joined the Biochemistry Department, there she completed her AAT while working through the ranks to become a Chief Accounts Clerk and ran the small accounts team there. In 2008 she left the University to join a communications company called Sepura in order to gain some experience working within industry. In 2010 she moved back to the University to join the Institute.

Louise's role is to manage the Institute's Finance Office and ensure that day-to-day finance tasks such as invoicing, travel expenses etc are completed. She also assists researchers with their grant applications by giving advice or helping with calculations through from the very early stages up to and including application submission. She is responsible for monitoring grant expenditure and submission of reports to sponsors.
Louise runs the Institute's Finance Office which is responsible for the processing of the Institute's day-to-day financial transactions.
