Somatic drivers of B-ALL in a model of ETV6-RUNX1; Pax5 (+/-) leukemia

SCI researchers from the Huntly lab have combined the Etv6-RUNX1 fusion gene and the loss of Pax5, both common events in B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), to generate a B-ALL mouse model. The resulting transplantable leukaemias, provide strong, novel translational tools for assessing potential therapeutics in cases of high risk/poor outcome B-ALL. Read more about it in BMC Cancer.
