Dates of Study: Oct 2011 - Sep 2014
Programme: Wellcome Trust 1+3 Programme in Stem Cell Biology

Thesis Title: The Mechanism of Nanog-induced reprogramming
Public Outreach: Moyra was a regular contributor to the University of Cambridge annual Science Festival in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
I studied the mechanism of Nanog-induced reprogramming. This is the method whereby adult cells can be turned back into stem cells by the application of certain factors. Moyra’s project focused on inhibitors of this process.
