Applications are invited for an HR Coordinator to join the administration team for the Department of Haematology and the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and be responsible for performing all human resources-orientated activities.

You will be the first point of contact in providing proactive support on a wide range of HR matters, be responsible for overseeing the administration of HR procedures, and play a key role in supporting the Business & Operations Manager and their Deputy in all HR issues as a member of the core administration team.

This is a busy and varied role and would suit someone who is comfortable with taking ownership of HR administration. The ideal candidate will be organised, good at managing and prioritising their own work load, have the ability to work on their own initiative, and be able to operate to tight deadlines. You will demonstrate tact and diplomacy, deal with confidential information, and from time to time be able to discuss and manage sensitive conversations in a supportive manner.

Experience of working in a Higher Education environment and/or experience in HR and recruitment would be an advantage.
