Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute
Anna completed her undergraduate at the University of Manchester and University of L'Aquila before doing her PhD in Jo Jones' therapeutic immunology group at the University of Cambridge. During her PhD, Anna worked in close collaboration with Roger Barker's team investigating the immunogenicity of the hESC-derived neural progenitor cells for Parkinson's Disease (PD) cell therapy (STEM-PD) and exploring neuroinflammation in PD post mortem brains. Anna is now undertaking a postdoc in the Barker and Jones groups, analysing patient samples from the STEM-PD trial using single cell multiomic techniques and continuing the exploration of neuroinflammation in PD.
