Biography
Dr Jean Dillon received her PhD in Animal Development from the University of York in 2006, where she studied the Parahox genes in Xenopus tropicalis. She did a postdoc at the University of Sheffield and then took a career break to have a family. In 2019, she began working on Arabidopsis plants, as a Research Technician, in Prof. Dame Ottoline Leyser's lab at SLCU in Cambridge. She joined the Khaled lab in 2023, and currently spends her time genotyping and helping to keep the lab running smoothly. She works 3 days a week (Mon-Weds) and enjoys singing in and helping to run a community choir in her free time.
