Marta Vila-Gonzalez

Marta obtained her PhD in Queen's University Belfast and moved to the Vallier lab in the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute in 2018 to pursue her research on establishing an iPSC-based model of respiratory disease in vitro. She now holds a Sir Henry Wellcome Fellowship is investigating the role of pulmonary ionocytes in the airway epithelium and in the physiopathology of Cystic Fibrosis.
