Ashiq Khader C

Ashiq Khader C is a stem cell biologist fascinated by the mechanisms underlying healthy ageing, cancer initiation, and stem cell regulation. He obtained a BS-MS dual degree in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Physical Sciences, from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata. He subsequently completed an MPhil in Biological Science (Physiology, Development and Neuroscience) at the University of Cambridge. 

Ashiq is currently a Research Assistant at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, where he supports multiple research projects investigating diverse aspects of epithelial stem cell biology, from cancer initiation to cell fate decisions.
