Weiwei completed his DPhil in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Oxford.
He was a computational scientist at the National Physical Laboratory and a bioinformatician at the MRC Toxicology Unit.
He joined the Hodson lab in February 2026 and focuses on the computational structural prediction of germinal centre-specific transcription factor complexes, with the aim of identifying essential protein-protein interfaces for therapeutic intervention.
