Chuheng Qing

Chuheng gained his Bachelor’s degree in 2021, from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. During his undergraduate studies, Chuheng studied the mechanism of contractile vacuole discharge in Dicyostelium Amoebae.

In 2021, Chuheng was admitted into the Wellcome four-year PhD programme and did lab rotations in the Alcolea, Sinha and Sampaziotis groups. He is now a PhD student in the Sampaziotis group, working on a project about mechanisms underlying cholangiocyte resistance and regeneration.

In his spare time, Chuheng enjoys badminton, swimming and travelling.
