This event brings together experts from around the world to discuss the science, research, and medical care for Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS). The four-day event will feature scientific sessions, workshops, discussion groups, poster presentations, and patient sessions.
Hosted by Professor Alan Warren (affiliate PI of the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and Professor in the Haematology Department) and Dr Johanna Rommens of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, this event is the only one of its kind that discusses the many challenges of SDS and care for the patients.
