We welcomed a total of 26 Postgraduate students to CSCI in October 2024, under the supervision of 14 PIs within the Institute.
These students are on a variety of PhD and Masters programmes, and are based in the following labs:

After a week of induction sessions, they joined the PhD Symposium 2024, which took place on 24-25 October at the JCBC Lecture theatre. The Symposium is an annual event that features talks from existing PhD students and Industry sponsors, and a keynote talk from Group Leader at the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit and Professor of Haematology at the University of Oxford Professor Thomas Milne, titled: Aberrant enhancer activation drives transcriptional heterogeneity and impacts therapeutic outcomes in leukaemia.
In addition to talks, the students also present posters to Group Leaders and postdocs in the Institute, and are granted awards at the end of the event. This year's awards went to:
