Klara A. Stark

Klara graduated from medical school and inspired by a research internship at the Pasteur Institute became most interested in host-pathogen interactions. She joined the Duque-Correa lab to study how Trichuris trichiura, an intestinal parasite, and the host's intestinal epithelia interact and how the gut microbial makeup influences this interaction.

She is a sailor on the university racing squad and enjoys spending time on the sea when in need to clear her head after a busy week in Cambridge.
