Undine-Sophie Deumer

Undine holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bonn, Germany, having undertaken her thesis research in Prof. Greg Hannon's lab at the University of Cambridge, UK, and a M.Sc. in Biological Sciences focusing on Ageing Research from the University of Cologne, Germany, having undertaken her thesis research in Prof. Richard Lee's lab at Harvard University, Cambridge MA, USA. She is a member of Maria Alcolea's lab and funded by the Wellcome Four Year PhD Programme in Stem Cell Biology and Medicine. Her project explores cell fate decisions and regeneration in ageing squamous stratified epithelia.
